DoD Enterprise Mass Warning Notification System and Recommended 911 Minimum Training Guidelines

This webinar shares the 911/Department of Defense (DoD) project to use Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) as sensors, and establish an Enterprise Mass Warning Notification System (EMWNS) that can warn personnel and facilities about potential hazards and threats; and the 911/DoD pilot currently underway to use PSAP information to improve DoD awareness of incidents involving military personnel and property.

Also learn about the Recommended 911 Minimum Training Guidelines released earlier this year. The presentation will include resources for implementing the guidelines, lessons learned and advocacy tools for statutory and regulatory implementation of the Guidelines.
